Building permits issued for Jan. 4-10, 2021

  • A $2,163,678 new construction permit is under review for 1675 N.E. 41st Ave. Plans call for a new five-story, 17-unit apartment building with associated site work. That includes a common area and a detached trash enclosure. Doug Circosta of Doug Circosta Architect is the applicant and Caudaloso LLC is the project owner. The contractor is out to bid.
  • A $616,195 new construction permit was issued for the PAE Living Building 151 S.W. First Ave. Construction includes a photovoltaic system. Sam Sullivan of Walsh Construction is the applicant, 1st & Pine LLC is the property owner and Tom Mitchell of Walsh Construction Co. (Oregon) is the contractor.
  • A $690,000 new construction permit is under inspection for 10925 N. Lombard St. The construction includes a new one-story warehouse shell building with a restroom, a changing room and a new parking lot strip. Eric Lanciault of Eric Lanciault Architecture is the applicant, Borden Chemical Inc. is the project owner and JH Kelly LLC is the contractor.

  • A $700,000 alteration permit is under review for 10925 N. Lombard St. Plans call for installation of processing equipment. Eric Lanciault of Eric Lanciault Architecture is the applicant, Borden Chemical Inc. is the project owner and JH Kelly LLC is the contractor.

Facility permits issued for Jan. 4-10, 2021

  • A $750,000 alteration permit was issued for 121 S.W. Morrison St. The work includes demolition of walls on the second and fifth floors to create new open office spaces, a team room, a break room, a conference room, a wellness room, and offices. Alterations also include ceiling, flooring, finishes, plumbing and electricity. Lauren Konopka of Hengst Streff Bajko Architects in the applicant, Terrance Tower USA-Portland Inc. is the project owner, and Swinerton Builders Inc. is the contractor.
  • A $785,000 alteration permit was issued at 900 S.W. Fifth Ave. The work includes minor demolition on the 25th floor to create a reception area, a conference room, huddle rooms, offices, phone rooms, a break room and open office areas. Alterations also include ceiling, flooring, finishes, plumbing and electricity. Mike Coyle of Faster Permits is the applicant, Standard Insurance Co. is property owner and Brian Sabom of Turner Construction Co. is the contractor.

  • None for any project with a value of $500,000 or greater.
