Building permits issued for Jan. 11-17, 2021

  • A $550,000 alteration permit was issued for construction of acoustical ceilings at 7150 N.E. Airport Way. Mike Coyle of Faster Permits is the applicant, the Port of Portland is the project owner, and JE Dunn Construction Company is the contractor.
  • A $700,000 alteration permit was issued for construction of seismic isolated floor systems at 7150 N.E. Airport Way. Mike Coyle of Faster Permits is the applicant, the Port of Portland is the project owner, and JE Dunn Construction Company is the contractor.
  • A $650,000 alteration permit was issued for 1120 S.E. Madison St. The work includes demolition of walls and stairs to create new ones and new concrete topping slab. Sean Barnett of Polymath Studio Architecture is the applicant, Madave LLC is the project owner, and NWC Nick Weitzer Co. LLC is the contractor.

Building permit intakes for Jan. 11-17, 2021

  • A $1 million alteration permit is under review for an existing odor treatment system at 108 W. Burnside St. The work includes demolition of a plenum wall, replacement of electrical equipment and controls, replacement of an odor fan, installation of odor treatment vessels, and ductwork. Huong Nguyen of the Bureau of Environmental Services is the applicant, and the city of Portland is the project owner. The contractor is out to bid.
  • A $1,177,102 new construction permit is under review for property on North Vancouver Avenue (97217 area code). Construction plans call for a three-story, 10-unit apartment building with a basement and associated site work. Daryl Garner of Structure Development Group LLC is the applicant, Vancouver Avenue Holdings LLC is the project owner, and Structure Development Group is the contractor.

Facility permits issued for Jan. 11-17, 2021

  • A $1,500,000 alteration permit was issued for 7000 N.E. Airport Way. The work includes demolition of walls to create storage rooms, offices, a break room, lockers, a desk duty equipment area, a parts area, an operations room, a beverage room, and bathrooms. The permit also includes new exterior coil doors, window, door, ceiling, flooring, plumbing and electricity. Mike Coyle of Faster Permits is the applicant, the Port of Portland is the project owner, and Hoffman Skanska LLC is the contractor.
  • A $5,140,000 grading permit was issued for 16200 S.E. Powell Blvd. The work is to expose underground reservoirs to perform maintenance and then cover it with drain rock, geotextile and topsoil. Dan Hogan of the Portland Water Bureau is the applicant and the city of Portland (Bull Run water reservoir) is the project owner. The contractor is out to bid.

  • A $1,960,000 grading permit is under review for 3509 N.E. Columbia Blvd. The work is for resource enhancement. Jeff Shoemaker of DOWL LLC is the applicant, and Broadmoor Inc. is the project owner. The contractor is out to bid.
