Noteworthy: The one thing you should remember about this project is that geologic hazards which shape the landscape can鈥檛 be ignored, but their unique attributes and beauty can be safely enjoyed if we recognize and appropriately mitigate for them. The Newell team turned a geologically hazardous canyon, the subject of many a university thesis, into a safe community resource where hikers and bikers can enjoy its beauty and unique features, while leaving the bustling urban environment behind, even if only for a short time.
