Noteworthy: Otak knew from the start of this project that whatever we did 鈥� it had to be presidential. When you have Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Lincoln looking over your shoulder, the design, materials, and craftsmanship better be worthy of a national memorial. Three million people visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial each year. This project greatly enhances their comfort, safety, and ability to enjoy this national treasure.
