Southwest Washington Contractors Association (SWCA) recently honored four member firms for their business success, participation in the group and contributions to the community.

The SWCA’s Construction Champions Awards for 2021 went to: Tapani, general contractor of the year; Stewart Mechanical, subcontractor of the year; CalPortland, supplier of the year; and Lease Crutcher Lewis, rookie member of the year.

Honorable mention for general contractor of the year went to: Andersen Construction, Robertson & Olson Construction, Bunch Construction, Fisher Construction Group, Emerick Construction, Catworks Construction and Raz Construction.

Honorable mention for subcontractor of the year went to: 3 Kings Environmental, Anchor Concrete, Tradesmen Electric, JRT Mechanical and Cornerstone Masonry.

Honorable mention for supplier of the year went to: J.L. Storedahl & Sons, H.D. Fowler and Cadman (Lehigh Hanson Cement Company).

Honorable mention for rookie member of the year went to: Emeritec, RimRiser, Uptown Screen Printing and Western Water Works.

All nominees 鈥渉ave been consistent supporters of the local commercial, industrial and infrastructure construction industry,鈥� SWCA Executive Director Sherrie Jones said. 鈥淓ach company has helped to improve the local community through their projects and actions.鈥�
