Hacker has opened a Bend location to complement its Portland office.

Recent work in the area includes The Grove, a new development in Bend that includes the recently completed Grove Market Hall and Assembly workspaces, where Hacker‘s offices will be located; the soon-to-be completed Ar锚te condominiums; the Universalist Unitarian Fellowship of Central Oregon; and the Lodge at Black Butte Ranch.

鈥淐entral Oregon is such a unique and dynamic landscape,鈥� Corey Martin, principal designer for several of the firm’s Bend area projects, said in a news release. 鈥淭here’s no place like it anywhere in the world and over the past 40 years we’ve been dedicated to designing buildings uniquely suited to this high desert landscape.鈥�

Sarah Weber, interior designer and associate principal, and Tom Schmidt, architect and associate 鈥� both Bend residents 鈥� will work from the new office.

The Bend office is located at 2838 N.W. Crossing Dr., Suite 206, inside the Assembly, a co-working space within The Grove, a 67,000-square-foot, multi-function development that includes office space, retail, a food hall and housing.
