  • A Historic Review is pending for the Troy Laundry Building at 1025 S.E. Pine St., Portland. The project is an adaptive reuse of the historic building, built in 1913. The proposal calls for an alternate metal type for the third-floor roof addition. The scope of the project includes an exterior rehabilitation of the historic windows and façade, interior renovations and new outdoor terrace on the third floor. Andrew Becker of Hartsthorne Plunkard Architecture is the applicant and Troy Laundry Property Holder is the project owner.
  • An applicant is proposed in a new five-story, 64,043 square foot multi-family inclusionary housing building at 6316 N. Maryland Ave. The project would include 70 units, 13 parking stalls and 107 bike parking stalls. It would have commercial, as well as community uses on the ground floor. Josef West of West Architects is the applicant and Jovice Holdings is the project owner.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for a possible multiple building development in the 97220 area code. The proposal calls for a one-story childcare center and a four-story (approximately 45-foot tall) affordable housing development with 80 units. The site would include 26 shared off-street parking between the buildings. Carly Harrison of Edlen & Co. and Dan Eddie of Human Solutions are the applicants and Lumen Technologies is the project owner.
  • A Design Advice Request application has been submitted for a 11-story apartment building, at 514 N.W. Ninth Ave., with approximately 200 apartments. The building would include affordable housing and have underground parking and ground floor retail. Robert Thompson of TVA Architects is the applicant and FH Honeyman Lofts is the project owner.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for a new 191-unit mixed use building at 8301 S.E. Division St. It would include 4,390 square feet of retail. David Mullens of Hoff Construction is the applicant and Diamond Plaza LLC (Santa Ana, California) is the project owner.
  • A Type 2 procedure (adjustment) is pending for 11041 S.E. Busch St. Plans call for an existing basement level storage space to be converted into an apartment unit. The proposal requests that a patio be used as the designated outdoor space for the unit. Michael Atmadja of West Coast Forensics Engineering and Design is the applicant and Carlos Tamburrino is the project owner.
  • A Type 1 procedure is pending for the Moda Center City Garages at 300 N. Ramsay Way. Exterior work would include the partial removal of an existing CMU block out in a wall, installation of a new roll-up door and a revision of the existing enclosed chain-link fence storage area. Interior work would include demolition of partition walls, second level mezzanine and suspended ceiling grid. Joshua Peterson of GBD Architects is the applicant and the city of Portland is the project owner.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for Sunshine Portland Apartments at 3650 S.E 29th Ave. The proposal calls for an addition of parking spaces from 36 to 63. Kimberly Freeman of Clover Consulting is the applicant and Sunshine Portland is the project owner.
