West Coast Contractors, Inc.
is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Construction Estimator. Project mix willc onsist of heavy, highway, bridge and marineconstruction.

Primary Responsibilities
-Interpret plans and specifications and review design documents to identify risks and opportunities on a project
-Complete take-offs
-Analyze subcontractor proposals
-Presentation of estimates to Owner and project team-Prepare bid packages and conceptual estimates
-Interface with owner, A/E’s and contractors to provide cost data regarding project feasibility
-Assist in the planning of construction including preparing preliminary progress schedules

Skills
-Strong written and oral skills
-Knowledge of budget and expense control
-Able to write reports and business correspondence
-Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications,MS Project and experience with Hard Dollar preferred
