  • A type 2 procedure (design review) is pending for the Hollywood Transit Center infrastructure improvement project at 4110 N.E. Halsey St. The project includes a new affordable housing building (HollywoodHUB), public plaza, and ramp and stair structure up to the existing pedestrian bridge over I-84 that connects to the Hollywood MAX light-rail station. This proposal is for the infrastructure portion that would transform a vacated portion of Northeast 42nd Avenue into the public plaza, add a ramp and stair structure, and replace an aging substation that powers the MAX line. The new substation would be housed underneath the ramp and stair structure. Plans for the affordable housing building will receive design review separately. TriMet is the project owner. The applicant was not listed.
  • A type 1x procedure (environmental review) is pending for a proposal to create a hiking trail within the 97219 zip code. Work would involve construction of the trail (approximately 2,346 feet long) as well as five bridges over seasonal ravines between Marshall Park and Tryon Creek State Park. The trail would replace existing informal trails that are impacting sensitive resources with the floodplain of Tyron Creek, according to the proposal. Iris Benson of the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is the applicant. Oregon Parks and Recreation and Metro are the project owners.
  • A request for a type 2 procedure (design review) was withdrawn for package Q of the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project along North Kerby Avenue (within the 97227 zip code). It would involve widening Interstate 5 at the Greeley Avenue exit ramp and the Interstate 405 exit ramp along the east side as well widening the fork (gore) where the I-405 exit ramp meets the interstate. Megan Channell of ODOT’s Urban Mobility Office is the applicant and ODOT is the project owner.
  • A type 2 procedure (adjustment) is pending for 11270 N.E. Holman St. The proposal calls for development, from the ground up, of a motor vehicle service facility (approximately 43,766 square feet) that would stretch across two existing lots and have 35 stalls. Austin Hahn of Allegro Civil Engineers of Chicago is the applicant and Holman PDX Real Estate LLC of Vancouver, Washington, is the project owner.
  • A type 2 procedure (adjustment) is pending for 3860 N.W. Yeon Ave. The proposal calls for allowance of 58 additional parking spaces above the maximum permitted to accommodate a tenant with a higher-than-typical employment head count. Suzannah Stanley of Mackenzie is the applicant and 3900 Yeon LLC of Denver is the project owner.
