• Early assistance is being sought for a project at 112 N.E. Killingsworth St. The proposal calls for a three-story, approximately 18,800-square-foot creative office building with a mass-timber structure consisting of glue-laminated beams and columns and a cross-laminated timber floor. A mass-timber rocking wall system has been designed for seismic resilience. Site amenities would include bike parking, showers, expansive terraces and a ground-floor courtyard. Thomas Robinson and Dannon Canterbury of LEVER Architecture are the applicants, and 112 NE Killingsworth LLC is the project owner.
• A pre-application conference is being sought for replacement of 15 air release valves on the Inverness sewer force main pipeline along Northeast Alderwood Road (within the 97220 zip code). The work would begin at the Inverness pump station off Northeast Inverness Drive and extend seven miles underground to a connection near the intersection of North Columbia Boulevard and North Argyle Way. Brenda Sherwood of the city of Portland is the applicant and the Port of Portland is the project owner.
• Early assistance is pending for renovation of the Creston Park skate park, at 4454 S.E. Powell Blvd. Plans call for creation of a new skate park covered by an open-air structure – most likely a pole barn type. As part of the project, crews would add ADA access to the existing swimming pool. Travis Ruybal of Portland Parks & Recreation is the applicant and the city of Portland is the project owner.
