  • Early assistance is being sought for a proposal at 6945 N. Interstate Ave. Plans call for construction of a four-story mixed-use building with 18 residential units above ground-floor commercial space. Aiden Willis of Team Construction in Vancouver, Washington, is the applicant and John Petrusich is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending for a proposal to establish a food cart pod at the northwest corner of the intersection of Northwest Vaughn Street and 26th Avenue (within the 97210 zip code). Plans call for subdividing the existing tenant space into a bar and restaurant space. The approximately 12,000-square-foot parking lot would become a pod with 14 stalls and a 1,800-square-foot pavilion. JP Spearman of Scott Edwards Architecture is the applicant and Double O Real Estate Holdings is the project owner.
  • A pre-application conference is being sought for a proposal to use an existing building, at 4441 N.E. 148th Ave., to store bakery byproducts to be shipped between Portland and Tacoma, Washington. Michael Easter of Feed Commodities is the applicant and Feed Commodities LLC of Tacoma is the project owner.
  • Design advice is being sought for a multifamily proposal at 6316 N. Maryland Ave. The new five-story, 64,043-square-foot building would have commercial space and community space on the ground floor. Josef West of West Architects is the applicant and Jovice Holdings LLC is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending for a proposal to remove a hazardous pedestrian bridge over a portion of the Columbia Slough at Colwood Golf Center, at 7313 N.E. Columbia Blvd. Phase one of construction would include removal of decking and girders using mechanical equipment positioned on top of the bank. No work would be done below the ordinary high-water line in this phase. Robin Laughlin of Portland Parks & Recreation is the applicant and the city of Portland is the project owner.
  • Design review (type 2 procedure) is pending for a proposal at 1121 S.W. Harvey Milk St. Plans call for seismic improvements, fire and life safety improvements, and accessibility improvements in the space formerly occupied by The Roxy, a 24-hour diner. Halla Hoffer of Peter Meijer Architect is the applicant and the city of Portland is the project owner.
