The shop would accommodate truck maintenance as well as storage of vehicle parts and other items. The office would be used for research and development as well as warehouse administration. • Early assistance is being sought for 4841 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Plans call for construction of two buildings on a 5,000-square-foot site that currently holds three empty lots. Each building’s basement and ground floor would hold a behavioral health clinic with eight bedrooms (15 total beds). Each building’s second floor would have eight apartments separate from ground-floor programming. Those units would be accessible from a separate entry and have access to a rooftop deck. Bike enclosures, a trash enclosure and a parking lot would occupy space between the buildings. • A pre-application conference is pending for a proposal to develop a utility-scale battery energy storage system facility along North Time Oil Road (within the 97203 zip code). Plans call for discussion of site grading and lot configuration to create floodwater storage swales and buildable areas. • A design advice request is pending for 6316 N. Maryland Ave. The proposal calls for construction of a five-story, 64,043-square-foot apartment building, including inclusionary housing units. The ground floor would hold community space and commercial space. Josef West of West Architects is the applicant and Jovice Holdings LLC is the project owner.
• Early assistance is pending to demolish a building next to a Pacific Power substation in Portland’s Eliot neighborhood (within the 97212 zip code) and add perimeter fencing. The structure is across Northeast Knott Street from the Matt Dishman Community Center. Kelsey Higgins of PacifiCorp is the applicant and Pacific Power & Light is the project owner.
