Energy Trust of Oregon has named Bill Tovey to its board of directors. During a 30-year career with the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, he has gained substantial experience in financial management and community development. Career highlights include the completion of Coyote Business Park infrastructure, as well as development of the Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center and the Nixy谩awii Education Center. During the past three years, Tovey has focused on tribal housing needs, facilitating production of both rental opportunities and lots for homeownership. He currently oversees the tribe鈥檚 land acquisition program.
