  • A pre-application conference is being sought for a proposal to add a two-story, 43,000-square-foot building on the David Douglas High School campus, at 1001 S.E. 135th Ave. The building would be constructed on a previously undeveloped portion of the campus and support the existing auto, computer information systems, engineering and health education programs. Patt Komar of David Douglas School District is the applicant and David Douglas School District is the project owner.
  • A pre-application conference is being sought for the Oregon Zoo, at 4001 S.W. Canyon Road. Plans call for an update to the 10-year conditional use master plan for the zoo. Debbie Cleek of The Bookin Group is the applicant and Metro is the project owner.
  • A pre-application conference is being sought for 1931 N.W. Flanders St. The proposal calls for site renovations to address security and accessibility. Work would also provide enclosed play areas. Steven Ehlbeck of SERA Architects is the applicant and Congregation Beth Israel is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is being sought for 5653 S.E. 87th Ave. The proposal calls for constructing three dwelling units on the vacant property. Kevin Partain of Urban Visions is the applicant, and John Gillem and Kahnery Gillem of Salem are the project owners.
  • Early assistance is being sought for a renovation of the Clifford Apartments (91ÊÓÆµ file)

    Early assistance is pending for the Clifford Apartments, at 527 S.E. Morrison St. The proposal calls for renovating the existing four-story building. Seismic upgrades and storefront/façade changes are anticipated. Michael Roberts of LRS Architects is the applicant and Clifford Apartments LLC is the project owner.

  • An affordable housing development is being proposed for 7235 N. Minerva Ave. (Portland Maps)

    Early assistance is being sought for a project at 7235 N. Minerva Ave. The proposal calls for an affordable housing project to establish a multifamily community. The conceptual site layout includes approximately 53 units, common open space, on-site parking and other shared amenities. Ian Gallager of Habitat for Humanity is the applicant and the city of Portland is the project owner.
