Core Objectives and Scope of Project:

– Fully renovate and restore National Landmark Site
– Completely restore building exteriors
– Preserve significant interior features, materials, and spaces
– Improve open space and build synergies
– Eliminate deferred maintenance and improve operational efficiencies
– Correct safety and security issues
– Seismically enhance the building structures to minimize vulnerabilities
– Resolve access limitations including ADA compliant building entries
– Install new high efficiency MEP systems coupled with thermal building envelope improvements to meet Oregon Model for Sustainable Development energy efficiency criteria
– Meet requirement of achieving LEED Gold level certification
– Increase effectiveness and efficiency of instructional and administrative spaces
