Bids Due: April 19th, 2024 @ 10:00am

The roof assemblies at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall have reached the end of their useful lives. The seven different roof areas that need replacement vary in elevation, access, and square footage. Structural roof members like precast concrete panels are showing signs of water infiltration and structural degradation and will need to be repaired or replaced. The existing parapet supports no longer meet current seismic code and will need to be replaced with structural steel. Sheet metal flashings and wall panels need to be replaced along the parapet walls and copings. Rooftop mechanical equipment will be temporarily removed so that new curbs can be built that match the new roofing assembly profiles. Roof drain bodies may need to be replaced or repaired. There is potential for a backup emergency generator, support equipment and switchgear installation as well. Site access and schedule will be constraints on this project. The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall is in the heart of the Arts District and requires complex logistics. COBID-certified firms strongly encouraged to participate.
