The project team is exploring possibilities for temporary use of the site with MAX light-rail cars and auxiliary structures serving as community spaces. The cars would be stationed on a system of tracks and railroad ties atop the ground. The project team is interested in potentially hosting small auxiliary units like food carts or farm stands on the site to serve as modest economic incubators for black entrepreneurs. Utilities would be brought to the site and centralized, though lighting would be distributed throughout the site. Other elements being considered on-site include community porches/​decks (potentially covered) and solar panel infrastructure.
