Alyse Frederick has demonstrated exceptional leadership and adaptability throughout her 13-year career in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.

Frederick earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. She spent nearly a decade as a practicing architect before successfully transitioning into construction in 2022, joining PCL as a project engineer.

Her rapid advancement at PCL reflects her strong performance on high-profile projects across the California district, including work at Universal Studios and Los Angeles International Airport. Frederick was quickly promoted to project manager and assigned to the Clackamas County Circuit Courthouse project, where she played a key leadership role in driving the project to substantial completion on time and on budget.

Currently leading the finishes scope at the courthouse project, Frederick manages more than 30 subcontractor teams and directly supervises six PCL employees. Her collaborative approach fosters trust and accountability across diverse teams, while her architectural background enables her to bridge communication gaps between design professionals and construction teams.

Frederick actively mentors disadvantaged business enterprise firms, providing hands-on guidance to minority-owned, women-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. She extends her mentorship through PCL’s partnership with the Professional Business Development Group, supporting small and minority-owned businesses.

An active member of the CREW Network, Frederick promotes advancement of women in commercial real estate through networking, education and leadership development.
