April Hogle has established herself as a rising leader in the construction industry over her 13-year career. Currently serving as a project manager 1, Hogle oversees structural concrete projects ranging from new school construction to mixed-use developments.

Hogle joined Whitaker/Ellis two-and-a-half years ago with limited concrete knowledge but has rapidly advanced to manage the company’s largest mixed-use, multi-story project. Her technical growth demonstrates her ability to master complex construction disciplines quickly and effectively.

Beyond project management, Hogle has become instrumental in organizational development at Whitaker/Ellis. She played a pivotal role in developing the company’s diversity committee, which she now leads as chairperson. The committee identifies areas where diversity objectives are not being met on individual projects and provides recommendations for improvement while ensuring compliance with local guidelines and union apprenticeship goals.

Hogle actively mentors new project managers and project engineers, sharing her knowledge through formal training sessions and individual guidance. She leverages her expertise and research skills to create productive learning experiences for colleagues.

Her community involvement includes membership in the National Association of Women in Construction and participation in meetups with 7×24 Data Center Young Professionals of the Pacific Northwest and Women in Mission Critical Operations. Hogle also has contributed to business development efforts by identifying and engaging with women in management positions among potential clients.
