Kim Krippaehne has established herself as a strategic force in Portland鈥檚 development and construction industry, having spent more than 35 years building her skills.

At Holst, Krippaehne led the creation and implementation of the firm鈥檚 five-year Strategic Plan, helping evolve the company鈥檚 approach to growth by prioritizing partnerships and projects aligned with core values of design excellence, community impact and sustainability. Under her leadership, Holst has expanded into new markets, formed lasting client relationships and deepened its philanthropic impact. She has guided the firm toward mission-aligned growth while mentoring colleagues in business development and strategic planning.

Krippaehne鈥檚 community involvement spans more than a decade with Project Lemonade, a nonprofit supporting foster youth. She joined the organization鈥檚 board of directors in 2023 and currently serves as governance chair, leading efforts to create a more diverse and representative board while spearheading the organization鈥檚 strategic relocation. She previously served on boards for Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest and the Portland Children鈥檚 Museum.
