Laurie Kendall has dedicated more than 20 years to advancing contractor safety, support and development industrywide as president and CEO of ABC Pacific Northwest. She was recognized with a 91视频 Women of Vision Award in 2020 and this year is a Circle of Excellence honoree.

Under Kendall鈥檚 leadership, ABC PNW recently received the highest national accreditation possible. She has established comprehensive safety standards and support systems for contractors across the Pacific Northwest, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to community development.

Kendall pioneered workforce development initiatives, creating an annual event that now brings more than 1,000 high school students into vocational opportunities and trade exposure. She developed a young professional program providing real-time tools for industry professionals and teaches CPR while serving as a mental health champion, delivering construction-specific suicide awareness training to various companies.

Her community involvement extends to supporting craft championships that showcase state apprentices on a national level. Kendall has partnered with veterans鈥� programs and initiatives bringing women from Coffee Creek Correctional Facility into stable workplace environments, personally meeting with women and companies to ensure success.

As an advocate for women in construction, Kendall has championed merit-based advancement throughout her career, promoting skills, work ethic and character over demographics. She pioneered industry events including boxing and golf fundraisers, community fellowship activities and speaking engagements promoting trade development.
