Megan Cook-Eichelberger brings two decades of construction industry experience to her role managing complex projects in Portland for Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company.

Cook-Eichelberger began her construction career working at her father鈥檚 drywall finishing business after high school, where she developed her work ethic and collaborative approach. She later worked as a traveling field engineer before joining Howard S. Wright in 2019.

In her current role, Cook-Eichelberger provides value engineering, subcontract management, and budget oversight while serving as the primary liaison between field operations and clients. She specializes in review, analysis, and resolution of field coordination issues with project teams and contractors.

Cook-Eichelberger has demonstrated exceptional leadership on high-profile projects, including recent work for the City of Portland and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Pool. She consistently exceeds equity contracting goals and champions minority, women, and emerging small businesses by implementing innovative approaches to remove barriers to success. On the Block 216 project, she and her team implemented a 鈥渞ight-size system鈥� that allocated work portions based on partner capabilities.

Cook-Eichelberger leads Howard S. Wright鈥檚 local Connecting Women employee affinity group and partners with organizations including Oregon Tradeswomen and Dress for Success to advance women in construction and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the industry.

Cook-Eichelberger demonstrated a strong commitment to community involvement with her work on the Salvaged Wood at the MCL (Multnomah County Library) 鈥� Chapter 3 Projects.
