Rebekah Huschka has established herself as a respected leader in the engineering field over her 10-year career with CIDA Architects & Engineers.

Huschka began her tenure at CIDA as an entry-level employee and steadily advanced through the ranks, earning her Professional Engineer accreditation in 2021 and achieving associate status in 2025. Her technical expertise spans projects from small, specialized developments to large, multi-story complex construction initiatives.

As the structural department鈥檚 Revit lead, Huschka has been instrumental in introducing Building Information Modeling to the firm鈥檚 structural engineering team. She leads the firm鈥檚 multi-disciplinary REVIT Lead group, establishing shared standards and collaboration protocols across departments.

Her leadership extends beyond technical capabilities. Huschka serves as a mentor to newer engineers and maintains strong collaborative relationships with architects, clients and contractors. Her approach emphasizes consensus-building and solution-centered problem-solving.

Recently, Huschka completed work as project engineer on The Journey Home: Women鈥檚 Life Change Center, a 55,000-square-foot transitional housing facility for Union Gospel Mission of Portland. The complex project required coordinating across multiple disciplines while maintaining focus on resident safety and dignity.

Huschka actively participates in CIDA鈥檚 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and volunteers with the company鈥檚 CIDA Gives program, supporting local food pantries and homeless outreach initiatives.
