PDC stalled on Burnside Bridgehead
The Portland Development Commission says it’s time to look at how to develop the delayed Burnside Bridgehead project. And this time, the agency is serious. Given the slowdown in development and building in the city, the agency thinks this is the perfect time to come up with a framework plan for the 176,000-square-foot property
Economic lull means PDC will take time to plan Burnside Bridgehead
The PDC is looking for assistance in developing a plan for the Burnside Bridgehead project, and has issued an RFP. Because of the recession, PDC and its chosen developer, Beam Development, cannot go forward with the project now. By the time the plan is completed, PDC expects the economy will rebound.
