Morrison Bridge deck going back to open grate design
Crews have begun designing a new lift span deck for the Morrison Bridge. The new deck, which will feature an open grate design, will replace one that deteriorated prematurely shortly after it was installed in 2011.

Limits being placed on Morrison Bridge traffic
Multnomah County officials plan to reduce the weight and speed limits on the Morrison Bridge in an effort to keep the bridge in service until the deteriorating lift span is replaced.
