Design of $10 million hotel renovation OK’d
The Portland Design Commission on Thursday granted conditional approval for a $10 million remodel to transform the Lloyd District Red Lion Hotel into a boutique hotel.
Renovation in the works for Lloyd District hotel
Grand Ventures Hotel LLC, the new owner of the Red Lion hotel near the Oregon Convention Center, is planning to spend $10 million renovating the building, despite talk of a 600-room hotel being built expressly for convention attendees.
