The fate of the Oregon Sustainability Center project is now in limbo. More than half of the cost is slated to be covered by Oregon University System bonds, but the Legislature plans to delay consideration of bond approval for the center and some other projects until February 2012.
Engineering clubs funded at public schools
The Oregon University System and the Engineering and Technology Industry Council last week announced that $203,774 in grants will be given to Oregon middle and high schools to start extracurricular engineering programs and to train teachers pre-engineering curriculum developed by ETIC.
