City’s outreach illuminates solar project

Residents of West Linn won’t get much in return from the Oregon Department of Transportation’s planned solar highway. No rate decreases or other perks from Portland General Electric, ODOT’s partner on the project located near West Linn off Interstate 205. But West Linn City Councilor Jody Carson said the city supports the project because it believes in sustainable energy investment.
