West End nightspots to be converted into retail space

The Red Cap Garage, a 25-year-old bar, and Aura, a 9-year-old nightclub, recently were purchased by Project Ecological Development. The bar and the club were next to each other, between West Burnside and Southwest Stark streets. The development firm plans to merge the two one-story buildings into one large retail structure able to accommodate multiple tenants.
