Children’s book about bridges will be released soon
About 1,500 copies of 鈥淭he Big and Awesome Bridges of Portland and Vancouver 鈥� a Book for Young Readers and Their Teachers鈥� will be available for sale to the general public.
‘Bridge Lady’ closer to publishing children’s book on Portland’s bridges
Sharon Wood Wortman, commonly referred to as the 鈥渂ridge lady,鈥� and her husband Ed Wortman are leading a campaign to finance the publishing of the 鈥淭he Big and Awesome Bridges of Portland and Vancouver: A Book for Young Readers.鈥�

After 20 years of leading tours of Portland鈥檚 bridges, Sharon Wood Wortman, author of The Portland Bridge Book, is working on a children鈥檚 book about the local bridges, The Big & Awesome Bridges of Portland & Vancouver鈥擜 Book for Young Readers.
