Jeff Bird, a shareholder in Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt鈥檚 Portland office, has been chosen to serve on the National Association of Corporate Directors Portland Advisory Board.

Bird focuses his practice on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, corporate finance and related transactions. He also advises companies on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance issues, corporate governance, and periodic reporting requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. In addition to his new position with the NACD, he is a board member of Northwest Business for Culture and the Arts, and provides pro bono counsel to the Lewis & Clark Small Business Legal Clinic. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.
