Richter appointed to American Planning Association committee

Carrie Richter of Garvey Schubert Barer has been appointed to the American Planning Association鈥檚 Amicus Curiae Committee, which files 鈥榝riend-of-the-court鈥� briefs in state and federal courts in important planning-related cases.

Richter is a senior associate, and focuses her practice on land use planning and municipal law. In addition, she is the deputy city attorney for Oregon City, where she advises the city on planning issues. She has been a commissioner for the city of Portland鈥檚 Landmarks Commission since 2006, and has been a member of the Oregon State Bar CLE committee, real estate and land use sections, since 2000.
