Laura Craska Cooper, managing partner of the Bend office of Ball Janik LLP, has been re-elected chairwoman of the board of commissioners for the Central Oregon Regional Housing Authority, also known as Housing Works, which provides affordable housing programs and services to low-income households in Central Oregon.

Cooper focuses her practice on real estate, business and land use, and has been a Housing Works commissioner since 2001. She received her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley
