Shannon & Wilson Inc. has hired Jason K. Garner as a geotechnical engineer and Sheila C. Gobel as a marketing coordinator and office administrator.

Garner has a background in numerical modeling, earthquake engineering and tunnel design. He holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Science in civil engineering, with an emphasis in geotechnical earthquake engineering from UCLA.
Gobel was hired earlier this year. She holds an associate鈥檚 degree in business administration.
