The Town of Eatonville has issued a rebid for the Town Center Plaza project. The Town will be accepting bids for the Town Center Plaza project on August 28, 2009 at 3:00 pm. The rebid was issued after all bidders on the first bid where deemed non-responsive with the respect of not meeting the 5% DBE subcontracting goal.
The Town Center Plaza is to be located on the west side of Mashell Avenue, south of Carter Street. Work consists
of demolition, site grading, underground utility installations for storm-water, sanitary sewer, water and electrical; installation of a 24 ft square, single-story lookout building/visitor center with 1,000 square feet of deck around it; drinking fountain; scored-concrete walkways; porous-concrete pavement for parking, driveway and alley areas; new curb, gutter and sidewalk along the west side of Mashell Avenue; concrete curbs; bollards; and landscaping and irrigation to include lawn, pergola, and raingarden.
Concrete work includes walls to support deck, building foundations, ADA ramps, flat work, and various curb types. Miscellaneous items include the installation of 3 telescopes, outdoor floodlights, surveillance cameras, and internet connection for lookout building/visitor center.
