Portland law firm Ball Janik LLP has expanded its practice into Seattle. The firm鈥檚 Seattle office will be led by partner Mark G. Jackson.聽 Associate Kevin A. Rosenfeld and government affairs adviser Heath Heikkila also will work in the Seattle office.

Jackson has 25 years of experience in government contracts and construction litigation, representing federal, state and local government contractors. He is experienced in counseling and dispute resolution arising from the award and performance of government contracts. He will work closely with Matthew C.

Hoyer, who has joined the firm鈥檚 Washington, D.C., office as an associate in the government contracts practice group.

Rosenfeld will work in the firm鈥檚 government contracts, construction and commercial litigation practice groups.

Heikkila, who joined Ball Janik in 2004, will divide his time between Seattle and Washington, D.C., in working with clients鈥� government affairs and public advocacy needs.
