Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt shareholder Roman D. Hernandez has been elected national president of the Hispanic National Bar Association, a nonprofit that represents the interests of attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants and law students of Hispanic descent.

Hernandez鈥檚 practice focuses on employment law, labor law and business litigation. He was selected as the HNBA鈥檚 Regional President of the Year in 2005, and he also serves on the board of the organization. He is a founding member of the Oregon Hispanic Bar Association, and he served as its first vice president. He holds a Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark College.
