Monica Anderson has been named president of Eugene-based Balzhiser & Hubbard Engineers. A 25-year veteran of the civil engineering industry, Anderson started the firm’s civil engineering department and also was instrumental in forming its land surveying department.

Janet Spriggs has been named the new manager of the firm’s civil engineering department. She has more than 12 years of professional experience and recently was the recipient of a “20 Under 40” award by Blue Chip magazine, a publication of the Register-Guard newspaper.
