Solar power for iPhones

As if iPhone and iPod owners needed another reason to brag about their tech-accessories, Apple has recently patented .
Extremely small, thin solar panels will be placed beneath the devices’ touch screens. On the go, batteries will be recharged by sunlight, but you can still plug the devices in at home when the sun isn’t shining.
I still have a cell phone that uses midi-file ring tones, so I won’t go into the technical details of how this would work. But the blog has a detailed description for all the tech nerds out there.
I wonder what other Apple products will soon be powered by the sun. iPad anyone?
