Oregon minority contractors enter Hall of Fame

Three Portland members of the National Association of Minority Contractors were inducted into the NAMC Hall of Fame last week at NAMC’s national conference in Portland.

Portland’s Mark Matthews, founder of PacificMark Construction, James Posey, founder and former president of NAMC Oregon, and Maurice Rahming, president of O’Neill Electric were inducted. Melvin Jerome Griffin Sr., founder of G&B Contractors in Atlanta, was also inducted.

The inductees were recognized for their professional achievements and active participation within their NAMC chapters.

Several Pacific Northwest NAMC members were also elected to NAMC’s National Board of Directors, including Andre Baugh, owner of Group AGB LLC in Portland, and Fred Anderson, founder of Leajak Construction in Mountlake Terrace, Wash. Faye Burch, owner of FM Burch and Associates, and James Posey were reelected to second and third terms respectively.
