The city of will conduct a workshop before issuing a Request for Qualifications from interested design consultants to provide engineering services for the expansion and upgrade of key components of the city’s water supply system.

Interested design firms will be presented with a program overview at the workshop, which will be hosted by the program sponsors (Lake Oswego and Tigard) and the program manager (Brown and Caldwell). A discussion of the work and a question-and-answer session also are scheduled.

The RFQ is scheduled to be issued next month and be due Dec. 15. The RFQ will encompass the design and construction support services portions of the proposed infrastructure project. The sponsors anticipate issuing four separate requests for proposals to those consultants selected as most qualified through the RFQ process.

The workshop will take place at the city of Lake Oswego’s West End Building, 4101 Kruse Way, in the Willamette conference room from 9 to 11 a.m.
