Kennedy, Stephens named lawyers of the year

Legal publication Best Lawyers has named Tonkon Torp partners Albert N. Kennedy and Kenneth D. Stephens as 2011 Portland, Oregon Lawyers of the Year in their respective disciplines.
Kennedy was honored for bankruptcy and creditor-debtor rights. He joined Tonkon Torp in 1984. Stephens was honored for corporate law. He is a founding member of Tonkon Torp. Both were instrumental in the recent high-profile resolution of Sunwest Management’s bankruptcy and $1.2 billion sale.
