Emily Hackbarth and Gena Gastaldi were hired by SUM Design Studio to keep pace with several projects on the boards.

Hackbarth has project experience ranging from residential and mixed-use to hospitality, workspace and health care. She is a LEED accredited professional, as well as an NCIDQ certified interior designer. She previously worked with Sienna Architecture Co.

Gastaldi is an intern completing her last year of undergraduate architecture studies at Portland State University.聽She is focused primarily on architecture that promotes social and environmental activism and sustainable design solutions for communities in need.
