Oregon employers win BOLI business leadership awards

State Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian, head of the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, presented BOLI business leadership awards to four Oregon employers for their significant contributions to local communities.
VERDE of Portland was honored as civil rights champion, Continental Mills of Pendleton and MaPS Credit Union of Salem both were named fair workplaces champions and Columbia River Bar Pilots of Astoria was honored as workforce development champion.
