Horizon Restoration, Oregon’s largest independently-owned emergency mitigation and restoration company, has hired Lionel Ramirez as vice president of preservation and special projects and Andy McCabe as project manager.

Ramirez is an expert in low-income housing tax credits. He most recently worked as director of construction for Homestead Capital and National Equity Fund. Ramirez will be responsible for leading Oregon and Southwest Washington affordable housing construction projects.

McCabe will lead a new restoration team in the Portland-Vancouver, Wash., area to service the increased demand by insurance agents, plus property management companies of homeowner associations, multifamily housing and commercial real estate. McCabe most recently worked as a branch manager for Har-Bro West in Tualatin.
