Linda Banks, a human resources diversity specialist at Portland General Electric, received a lifetime achievement award from the World Arts Foundation.

Banks was recognized with the foundation鈥檚 Best Equity award for more than 20 years of service to the community. She served as a World English Institute volunteer for 12 years, as a board member for Uniting to Understand Racism for 11 years and as a volunteer for the Multicultural Resource Center for the World Affairs Council. She also is a cocreator of PGE鈥檚 Diversity Summit.
