URS has added three staff members to its commercial and industrial business line in the corporation’s Portland office: Anne Gire, Alex Freeman and Richard Heymann.

Gire, an environmental scientist, has five years of experience in water resources, remedial site compliance and environmental assessments.

Freeman, a senior environmental scientist, has more than seven years of experience as a project manager and technical leader of environmental audits, contaminated land investigations and groundwater monitoring and sampling.

Heymann, a construction manager, has more than 23 years of experience managing environmental and construction programs, including environmental cleanup projects for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Emergency Response Cleanup Services and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, among others.
