Alan Scott, principal and co-founder of Green Building Services, recently was elevated to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows. This honor is reserved for architects who have made significant contributions to architecture and to society. AIA has more than 80,000 members, but fewer than 2,700 have received such a distinction. Scott will be honored at a ceremony at the 2011 AIA national convention and design exposition in New Orleans on May 13.
