Top 10 things contractors should give up for Lent

As it is Ash Wednesday, Catholics (an even some non Catholics) are beginning their six weeks of sacrifice for Lent. We thought of some things Oregon contractors could stand to give up. What will you give up for Lent? Can you add to our list?
10. Non-sustainable building practices
9. HVAC systems. They’re not sustainable. Try passive systems in temperate climates like Oregon’s.
8. Shyness. Get out there and network. (Shameless plug: We have events)
7. Greenwashing
6.听 Demolition of historic properties. Even the not-so-historic ones.
5. Sitting on properties. We see those vacant buildings, and we know who you are.
4. Thumb twiddling. Ahem, Columbia River Crossing.
3. Holes in the ground
2. PVC. Or any material with harmful chemicals, really.
