Matthew Garrett, director of the Oregon Department of Transportation, will be the guest speaker at an upcoming breakfast offered by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon.

During his appearance at the April 7 event, Garrett will discuss the future of transportation funding in Oregon, including the status of the Columbia River Crossing project.

The breakfast presentation will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 S.W. Salmon St. in Portland. Cost is $40 per person for ACEC Oregon members and $70 for nonmembers. Registration is required and the deadline is April 1.
